We are thrilled to share our collaborative endeavor with Hocalar \u0130mam Hatip Middle School in the 2023-2024 academic year’s first semester. As part of this social responsibility initiative, our undergraduate students, with our research assistant, Gamze Kapucu, engaged in dynamic speaking sessions with middle school students learning English at Hocalar \u0130mam Hatip Middle School.<\/p>\n

Under the guidance of Ms. Dilek \u015eenol, who is an English teacher at Hocalar Imam Hatip Middle School, each week, students from our department led speaking activities for the middle school students. These sessions were designed to align with the topics covered in their weekly English lessons, fostering enthusiastic participation and contributing to a lively and enriching learning experience.<\/p>\n

These collaborative activities allowed middle school students to improve their speaking skills in a supportive and interactive environment. Furthermore, they provided an invaluable experience for our teacher candidates to practice teaching in a real-world setting.<\/p>\n

We sincerely thank Ms. Dilek \u015eenol and the administration of Hocalar \u0130mam Hatip Middle School for their support and collaboration.<\/p>\n
