English Teacher Bahri Turun\u00e7, serving as the Head of the Research and Development Office at the Afyonkarahisar branch of the Ministry of National Education, recently graced the Foreign Languages Education Department at Afyon Kocatepe University with his insightful presence. This visit marked the seventh installment of the department’s Career Development Talk series, expertly coordinated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Manolya Tun\u00e7er. One of his students, Asst. Prof. Dr. Manolya Tun\u00e7er surprised her teacher and asked the students of those years to tell about their teacher, Bahri Turun\u00e7, and showed her a video before the speech. In this sense, it was an emotional scene.<\/p>\n

During his session, Mr. Turun\u00e7 shared invaluable insights into the teaching profession, shedding light on the multifaceted roles and responsibilities inherent in the field. Drawing from his extensive experience, he provided students with a comprehensive understanding of EU projects and their significance within the educational landscape. Additionally, Mr. Turun\u00e7 offered a firsthand account of his career journey, highlighting the progression from teaching English to spearheading the coordination of EU projects. His talk served as a source of inspiration for aspiring educators, empowering them to envision dynamic career paths within the realm of language education and beyond.<\/p>\n

At the end of the event, our Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih G\u00fcng\u00f6r presented a certificate of appreciation and a small gift to Bahri Turun\u00e7.<\/p>\n
