The student representative will represent our department in student council activities, sharing students&#8217; concerns, suggestions, and needs with the administration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Eligibility Requirements:<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents wishing to run for student representative must meet the following conditions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be at least a second-year student.<\/li>\n<li>Must not be a member or hold any position in political party organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Must not have a criminal record for offenses involving moral turpitude (a criminal record certificate must be submitted at the time of application).<\/li>\n<li>Must not have received any disciplinary penalties other than a warning.<\/li>\n<li>Must not have frozen their registration during the election period.<\/li>\n<li>Must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 out of 4.0 or 70 out of 100.<\/li>\n<li>Must not have any affiliation or connection with terrorist organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Process:<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents interested in running for student representative must submit written application forms along with the required documents to Research Assistant Gamze Kapucu no later than October 28, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Election Date and Process:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe election will be held on November 7 via secret ballot. All department students are eligible to vote and have one vote each.
