ACCREDITATION PROCESSES AND STEPS TO FOLLOW DETAILED AT THE FACULTY OF EDUCATION<\/b><\/p>\n

The Faculty of Education held a comprehensive meeting to evaluate quality assurance efforts and accreditation processes.<\/span>\u00a0The meeting,<\/span>\u00a0which aimed to analyze the current status and determine the steps to be taken in the accreditation journey of the departments within the faculty,<\/span>\u00a0was attended by the Dean,<\/span>\u00a0Vice Deans,<\/span>\u00a0Heads of Departments,<\/span>\u00a0and faculty members from the English Language Teaching,<\/span>\u00a0Preschool Education,<\/span>\u00a0and Primary Education departments.<\/span><\/p>\n

Comprehensive Briefing by Experts<\/b><\/p>\n

Experts serving within the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs (EPDAD)\u2014<\/span>Prof. Dr. G\u00fcrb\u00fcz Ocak<\/b>,<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Prof. Dr. \u0130jlal Ocak<\/b>,<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Asst. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Yurtseven<\/b>\u2014shared critical insights regarding accreditation processes during the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n

The experts informed the academic staff about how the process should be managed by detailing all components of accreditation.<\/span>\u00a0In the presentations,<\/span>\u00a0which placed particular emphasis on the balance of\u00a0<\/span>“Input, Process, and Output,”<\/b>\u00a0technical information was provided regarding the points to be considered at these stages and the nature of the evidence to be collected.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. Nusret Koca<\/b>,<\/span>\u00a0Dean of the Faculty of Education,<\/span>\u00a0who presided over the meeting,<\/span>\u00a0frequently intervened during the presentations to make important contributions regarding the current status of the faculty.<\/span>\u00a0Prof.<\/span>\u00a0Dr.<\/span>\u00a0Koca explained how theoretical knowledge aligns with the realities of the faculty and how current potential can be reflected in accreditation standards.<\/span><\/p>\n
