{"id":2342,"date":"2026-10-14T16:23:30","date_gmt":"2026-10-14T13:23:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fled.aku.edu.tr\/?p=2342"},"modified":"2026-10-14T16:23:30","modified_gmt":"2026-10-14T13:23:30","slug":"ogrenci-temsilcisi-secimi-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fled.aku.edu.tr\/en\/2026\/10\/14\/ogrenci-temsilcisi-secimi-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Representative Election"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Students,<\/p>\n<p>The election process for the Foreign Languages Education Department Student Representative for the 2026\u20132027 Academic Year is beginning.<\/p>\n<p>The student representative represents the students of our department, communicates their concerns, suggestions, and needs to the administration, and takes part in relevant student council activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Candidate Eligibility Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who wish to apply as candidates must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<p>* Be at least a <strong>second-year student<\/strong>.<br \/>\n* Not be a member of or hold a position in any political party organization.<br \/>\n* Have no criminal record for offenses involving moral turpitude. A <strong>criminal record certificate must be submitted at the time of application<\/strong>.<br \/>\n* Have received no disciplinary penalty other than a warning.<br \/>\n* Not have frozen their registration during the election period.<br \/>\n* Have a minimum <strong>GPA of 2.75 out of 4.00 or 70 out of 100.<\/strong><br \/>\n* Have no affiliation or connection with terrorist organizations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who wish to run for student representative must submit their written applications and the required documents to Research Assistant Gamze Kapucu in person 0r via email (<a href=\"mailto:gkapucu@aku.edu.tr\">gkapucu@aku.edu.tr<\/a>) no later than <strong>Friday, October 16, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Election Date and Process<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The election will be held on <strong>Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.<\/strong> by secret ballot.<\/p>\n<p>All students enrolled in the department are eligible to vote, and each student is entitled to one vote.
