Throughout our orientation week, we took comprehensive steps to ensure our new students felt fully prepared for their academic journey at our university. On the first day, which was Monday, we warmly welcomed them and provided a thorough introduction to the university’s academic structure, highlighting the points they’ll be engaging with during their time here.
On Thursday, an informative session on the Erasmus+ Program was organized for our students, led by Lecturer Ezgi GÜREL, from the International Relations Office. After this enlightening session, three of our junior students, Sude KÜKÜKÇÜ, Aslıhan CANTÜRK, and Esengül SARI, generously shared their personal Erasmus+ experiences and stories, shedding light on the incredible opportunities available through this program. We express our heartfelt gratitude to them for taking the time to inspire their peers.
Thursday also featured a valuable presentation by a registered dietitian and a psychological counselor from the Department of Health, Culture, and Sports. They introduced themselves and offered insights into the comprehensive physical and mental health services that our university provides, ensuring our students’ well-being is a top priority.
Lastly, on Friday, our students were accompanied by a librarian who gave them an in-depth orientation on how to effectively utilize the library’s resources. This included practical guidance on library usage, understanding the rules and regulations, and exploring the wide range of services on offer to support their academic journey. We trust that these informative sessions have equipped our students with the knowledge, resources, and inspiration they need to embark on a successful academic journey at our university, fostering a sense of belonging.
