Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Güngör, a faculty member of our department, recently came together with young participants at the Çay Youth Center as part of the TÜBİTAK Science Talks program.
During the session titled “English, Communicative Competence, and Culture,” Dr. Güngör discussed the vital role of communicative skills and cultural awareness in foreign language learning, moving beyond mere grammatical rules. The talk, which drew significant interest from the youth, offered practical insights into using English more effectively as a tool for global communication.
