An Important Step in Our ELT Program’s EPDAD Accreditation Process
The English Language Teaching Program at Afyon Kocatepe University’s Faculty of Education has completed an important stage in its accreditation process with EPDAD, the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Programs. Following our application, the preliminary review covering 39 criteria concluded positively in September 2026.
As the next stage, an EPDAD evaluation team is expected to visit our program during the fall semester of the 2026–2027 academic year. The site visit will provide an opportunity to review our teaching practices, teacher education experiences and quality assurance work in person.
We continue our preparations with the contributions of our students, graduates, academic staff and stakeholders. The final accreditation decision will follow the site visit and completion of the evaluation process.
