Dear Students,

Students who wish to take upper level courses are expected to write and send a petition to their advisors via e-mail (gkapucu@aku.edu.tr) addressed to the Head of the Department of Foreign Languages Education until February 7, 2025, including which courses they want to take and the reasons why they want to take upper level courses for each course. The Department Board will review the petitions and notify the students by making a final decision on this matter.

• Students can directly select their semester courses and lower courses.
• According to the petition results, if the requested courses are deemed appropriate, they will be added by the advisor during the add/drop week.
• Sophomores cannot take upper-division courses due to the curriculum change.

Important reminder: Please do not write petitions for courses that overlap in the program.
