Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Education, Department of Foreign Language Education, gathered prior to the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year to discuss activities and academic planning for the new semester and to submit a proposal to the department head for the dean’s approval.
The meeting, chaired by Department Head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Güngör, was attended by department faculty members. At the meeting, comprehensive evaluations were conducted of the planning for courses to be offered in the new term, the updating of course programs, and the department’s strategic goals.
The meeting also addressed steps to improve the quality of education and teaching, as well as topics such as student counseling, upcoming academic events, and accreditation.
After the productive meeting, Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Güngör thanked the entire academic staff for their contributions and expressed his hope that the new term would be successful for the department and its students.
