Our department member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Güngör, visited the Department of Humanities at the University of Ferrara in Italy as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Teaching Mobility program.
During the visit, Dr. Güngör conducted a series of educational activities and lectures tailored for the students of Language and Literature. His sessions focused on “Introduction to Corpus Linguistics,” where he introduced students to modern computational tools for linguistic analysis, and “Academic Writing,” providing critical strategies for scholarly communication in international contexts.
Dr. Güngör was hosted by Prof. Dario Del Fante, with whom he engaged in productive discussions regarding shared research interests. Beyond the classroom, the visit served as a platform to explore future research collaborations and strengthen the academic partnership between the two institutions.
The mobility program concluded successfully, further enhancing the international visibility of our department and fostering new avenues for academic exchange in the field of linguistics.
