The “Sociolinguistics Workshop: Awareness and Practical Applications for Prospective English Teachers” Hosted by Dicle University Has Been Successfully Completed.
We continue to support our students’ academic and professional journeys with great enthusiasm. Our students Perihan Çetin, Zehra Uzun, Büşra Bağcı, and Mustafa Kırkayak recently participated in a prestigious training program funded by the TÜBİTAK 2237 Support Program for Scientific Educational Activities.
The event, titled “Sociolinguistics Workshop: Awareness and Practical Applications for Prospective English Teachers,” was coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Solmaz at Dicle University’s Ziya Gökalp Education Faculty. During the intensive workshop, our students had the unique opportunity to learn from distinguished scholars representing Turkey’s leading universities, including Boğaziçi University, Yıldız Technical University, Uludağ University, and TED University. The curriculum focused on contemporary sociolinguistic approaches and practical implementations in language teaching.
