The Department of Foreign Languages Education welcomed first-year students with an orientation meeting held on September 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Güngör (Head of the Department of Foreign Languages Education), Assist. Prof. Dr. Manolya Tunçer (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education), and Res. Assist. Gamze Kapucu.
During the session, students were introduced to the Faculty of Education, the Department of Foreign Languages Education, and the English Language Teaching Program. They were also given practical information about academic procedures, departmental processes, and key points to keep in mind as they begin their first year.
The meeting also featured an Erasmus+ information session led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatih Güngör. Students received information about international exchange opportunities and the Erasmus+ program. Former Erasmus+ participants then shared their experiences of studying abroad, offering first-hand insights into the program.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, where students had the opportunity to ask questions about both their academic life and international mobility opportunities.
