The Department of Foreign Languages Education at the Faculty of Education held a standardization meeting on 29 September 2026 to ensure that the Teaching Practice I course is conducted in accordance with shared principles and criteria. The meeting was attended by all fourth-year teacher candidates enrolled in the course and the academic staff responsible for its delivery.
The primary aim of the meeting was to ensure consistency in the teaching practice process and develop a shared understanding of its academic and practical aspects. Teacher candidates were informed of their placement schools, the Teaching Practice Directive was explained in detail, and the Teaching Practice File/Portfolio prepared by the department was introduced. Comprehensive information was also provided on the tasks to be completed throughout the semester and teacher candidates’ responsibilities during their placements. The meeting concluded with a discussion of course expectations and answers to teacher candidates’ questions about the teaching practice process.
