Our Mission (Bachelor’s Degree)
Our mission is to educate highly qualified English language teachers and critical researchers who are proficient in advanced linguistic and pedagogical knowledge (P2, P3), skilled in utilizing technology (P12), and committed to lifelong professional development (P11). We are dedicated to fostering graduates who are capable of conducting research (P6), addressing real-world problems (P5), and acting as socially and culturally sensitive global citizens (P7, P14, P15) in both national and international educational contexts.

Departmental Missions (Bachelor’s Degree)
DM1-BA: To train qualified English language teachers who can work in schools in Turkey and abroad and compete with their colleagues nationally and internationally.
DM2-BA: To educate science experts and academician candidates who can carry out academic activities in the field of English language education.
DM3-BA: To train qualified human resources who develop themselves socially, culturally and scientifically, have reasoning, problem solving and association skills, and are sensitive to social and environmental problems.
Program Educational Objectives (Bachelor’s Degree)
PO1-BA: Our graduates effectively serve as highly competent English language teachers and educators in public or private educational institutions, applying advanced theoretical, practical, and pedagogical knowledge to meet the evolving needs of the national and international education sector.
PO2-BA: Our graduates demonstrate leadership and adaptability by pursuing diverse professional roles within the public or private sectors—such as curriculum developers, educational managers, or materials writers—leveraging their critical thinking, research skills, and strong communication abilities.
PO3-BA: Our graduates actively pursue lifelong learning and continuous academic development, either by enrolling in and successfully completing graduate programs (Master’s or Ph.D.) or by making significant contributions to the field as research assistants, lecturers, or academic experts.
